Catnip   The philosophical feline, Catnip, is the star of a funny comic strip in a 32-page comic book. With him are Buttons, his alley cat friend; Lillie, the beautiful orange cat Catnip sees from a distance but cannot get to; and the Gray Cat With The White Collar, who beats up Catnip for no reason at all. He wonders: If an unhappy employee is disgruntled, is a happy worker gruntled? Why do you have to spend $200 before you get a $5 "winning" lottery ticket?

Cyntherita   Cyntherita is a little girl with a vivid imagination. When she sleeps, her stuffed toy Ash takes her on wild adventures. Her father, Al Gonquin, works in a shoe factory putting those plastic things on the tips of shoelaces. But he feeds her imagination with his own wild tales. You'll especially like the section as Cyntherita and family anticipate and plan for the birth of the family's second child.

The Fatt Family

Fred Fatt's bad traits: he's obnoxious, nosy, bossy, rude, overbearing, selfish, insensitive, inconsiderate, ignorant. His good traits: he's overweight and lazy. But nobody is perfect. He's not malicious or deliberately mean. He's just too insensitive to realize how rude he is. Everybody knows someone like him, and at times everyone is like that. With his equally fat wife Frieda and their five repulsive children, they drive their poor neighbor crazy.
